Monkey See Monkey Do

Toucan play it that game caw caw!! 2024 was quite a mixed bag of experiences. Everything seems so long ago already. Many exciting events have happened though!

Cartoon wise I've been working on a BIG PROJECT on and off TOP SECRET!!! Meanwhile I just made a few small cartoons for fun that usually took a month or a few weeks to finish. My favorite cartoon I did this year was Slippy Dippy Shenanigans since I got to do more techniques I don’t really do often. It's a simple cartoon but it made me want to improve and experiment with my next animations. It was fun animating all my cartoons this year but most were vapid looking back, I didn't learn much from working on them. I'll be more ambitious with the next things I do. My powers won’t grow stronger if I don't push myself to be like Goku. In other news I got hired for an animation gig earlier this year, it was a great experience that I hope I get more of. Please hire me more!!

Mildred Mayhem 

My artwork was Mildred all over the place, he's been a very fun character to draw recently. It's been great experimenting with different color pallets and poses on him. I’ve been carving out Mildred for awhile now and found a solid foundation of his character and his surroundings. Still workshopping ideas but I shall have some stories to tell. I still have plans to do more with Yoak and pals as well. I want to keep drawing forever!! MORE YOAK AND MILDRED CARTOONS NEXT YEAR!! Favorite art pieces I did this year are

Almost forgot to mention I did art commissions for the first time, it was quite a pleasant experience. All those furries got the big bucks and were nice. Except that stupid big fat breasted ender dragon women SHAME ON YOU!!! I ain’t falling for your tricks. Beware everyone, if a big breasted ender dragon woman wants to bless you with 3000 dollars. SAY NO!! She doesn’t even deserve women status.

I dabbled into some music for a short while. Got help from epic friends to make epic beats. At some point I wanna try music head on and learn much more about it. Music has definitely given me a lot of great ideas listening to tunes throughout the decades with lyrics or without. I admire it and at least want share what I can do. Took some music classes before so I'm not completely clueless but at the same time I am. I need to remember how to actually make a delicious meal of music. What's the recipe? I DON’T KNOW!!

Life Accomplishments 

Don't open up much about real life stuff but me got car me got job me got older me found mantis me don't know what to do now (this involves a lil of the year before just a tad). I went to college for a short while to study film, it was fun but I decided to drop out.(too expensive for now, need to save up money) Also I got to play Silent Hill and Half Life which are rad as hell. Haven’t finished Silent Hill yet but I'm getting there. I’ve been watching a lot of The Sopranos and One Piece. Also watched a lot of Coen brothers movies kinda on accident.

And the best I must confess I have saved for the last, flew out alone for the first time to meet my long time pals I've loved so dearly over the years. Never met them in the real world till now and we had a grand old time mini golfing, playing Super Smash Bros, and watching Sky High. A great experience finally seeing friends that seem to be stuck in my computer, it almost felt like a dream.

The Future

Plans for 2025 are mostly just to keep working on my skills. Mainly going to finish my “Secret Project” which has been in the works for too long. That's the main focus but after that I'm just gonna focus on learning new skills for artistic and personal growth. Maybe I'll stream more and I'll definitely make more cartoons. I don't know what the future has in store for me but I bet it’s good. I felt very satisfied this year with what I've accomplished but I know I can do more. Also thank you to everyone that’s supported me, I'm very happy everyone's been enjoying the cartoons lately and I got so much fanart this year it’s been crazy. Glad to see people excited with what I do next, you won’t be disappointed. 

Thanks Tom Fulp again for making this website because I wouldn’t have the support or friends today without it. Alright peace out everybody make this year a great one.
